On January 12th, the SVHS Drill Team, Academic Team, Physical Fitness Team and Color Guard all competed in the Gaithersburg High school Drill meet. both out Color Guard and drill team brought home 3rd place trophies. Cadet Orrego and Cadet Dosso also won Knockout medals.

Area Managers inspection
On December 5th, our unit was proud to host captain Jim Daniels USN (Ret.) where he, along with 2 staff sergeants and 2 petty officers inspected the 107 present cadets of the unit. Our cadets performed as expected and we are very proud of them and glad to have earned a passing grade on the years AMI.
Kennedy drill meet victory
Congratulations to our Armed Exhibition drill team, for earning a drill trophy for the first time in over 7 years and a special shout out to cadet Vallejos, our supply officer for winning a knockout medal, and cadet Silva for leading our team to its historic victory, as well as also winning a knockout medal.
